On the front of the 11 Rack I have a 1/4 inch cable connect to Output To Amp 1 Left. 1 To Amp Position is set to Rig Output and 2 To Amp Position is set to Rig Input. And under Outputs, Digital is set to Split In/Out. Under FX Loop, Mode is set to Mono-Stereo. Under External Pedals I have selected Expression Pedal. Under Amp/Cab I have selected Cab Always Off. Inside User Options I have under Rig in Embed Setting From set on Analog 3-4. I have all sound FX, Amps, Cabs, Delay, etc shut off. It's input is Analog 3 and it's output is Analog 1-2. I couldn't figure out how to post photos so here is some more details. If you're still stuck, keep posting and some others will get you going. I'm away from my studio and have not reamped with an external amp so I'm sorry to not be of more help. Then, follow the other instructions for reamping. Yes, not real obvious, but that's where they are You can also do this by clicking on the yellow and icons that appear below the EXP PEDAL label on the right side of the main 11 Rack Window above the last piece of gear in your rig. I'll assume that you're just using 11R effects and want to bypass the amp and cabs so you'll want to select "Amp Input" for whichever Output To Amp ( or ) that you'll be using. If you click on User Options in the 11 Rack Window of your ProTools session, you'll see "To Amp Position" and at the bottom right of the window. This can be at Rig Input, Rig Output, Amp Input or Amp Output. The issue seems to be with high gain situations.Īny ideas? Sorry for the novel, it's been two weeks of trying to figure the problem out.At step 2, you're telling the 11R where to jump out of the signal path and output to the Amp Outputs which go into your external amp. I've tested the issue with a Fender tube combo, which has noise, but much less. It's still there, but dramatically quieter. Just today I bought a Behringer MicroHD HD400 hum eliminator, which did dramatically attenuate the noise. Additionally, I thought the issue was with the specific Eleven rack I owned, so I exchanged it. I've tested the set up on various outlets throughout the building I work, on various circuits. I have both devices plugged into a Furman power conditioner, and have tested with a Livewire power conditioner as well. The moment I bring gain into the picture, noise is introduced. If I crank the overdrive volume all the way, but keep the gain at zero, no noise. If I set the Marshall to its clean channel and crank the volume to max, no noise. If I turn down the output levels on the Eleven Rack down to a Mute status, the noise does not turn down. No computer, guitar, or even audio being played necessary. To recreate the issue, I only need to plug my Eleven Rack into the amp, via the Output to Amp into the amp's Input. Upon further research, I've plugged my Eleven Rack into a Marshall solid state practice amp and recreated the same issue. When I attempted to use the reamp feature with a Laney guitar head and 2x12 cabinet, a tremendous amount of broadband white noise came through, rendering the reamping unusable. I'm trying to reamp DI guitar tracks through an amp with it, using the Output to Amp outputs (either 1 or 2). However, I have an issue I can't seem to resolve involving the Eleven Rack. I apologize in advance if my post is not in the correct forum.

Then skewer them and toss them on the grill – it’s that easy. Cut chicken or beef into bite sized pieces and marinate them for at least an hour in this sauce. Delicious! But, you can do just about anything with this sauce.ĭrizzle a few teaspoons over some plain cooked rice for a great side dish. The first thing that comes to mind is using this dip with spring rolls. Once you have it all done, what are you planning to do with it? Well, to be honest, you have so many possibilities. So… let’s talk about this Thai Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce. HOW TO PUT THAT GLORIOUS SAUCE TO GOOD USE Once I took the dipping sauce out of the canner, I could barely wait until it was fully cooled! I remember listening eagerly for that glorious popping sound, telling me that the jars had properly sealed. I swear, the whole time the jars were in the canner, I kept thinking that they were going to explode or that the water was going to seep into the dipping sauce. Thai Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce was a great place to start, because the ingredients were very inexpensive and I knew that if I totally messed it up, it wouldn’t be a total loss. I never did actually get them to teach me how to do it, which is a shame, but I did some research and decided to practice with some small-batch recipes before taking the leap into large quantities. I was always so amazed at how my mom and dad would can soups, meats, and veggies. You see, Dear Reader, it was about twelve to fifteen years ago that I started canning food. The first time I made Thai Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce was about twelve years ago. Now, with my public service announcement out of the way, please proceed. Before you read any further, I have to warn you – this Thai Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce is completely addictive! If you have an additive personality like me, please consider yourself warned. The Supreme Court has declined to rule on the constitutionality of the Texas law but indicated in another abortion case that it may be inclined to overturn Roe v. Many clinics in Texas - fearful of potentially ruinous lawsuits - have closed their doors. They can be rewarded with $10,000 for initiating civil suits that land in court, prompting criticism that the state is encouraging people to take the law into their own hands. Texas Senate Bill 8 (SB8) differs from other efforts in that it attempts to insulate the state from claims of rights violations by giving members of the public the ability to sue doctors who perform abortions - or anyone who helps facilitate them - once a heartbeat in the womb is detected. Wade, which guaranteed a woman's right to an abortion until the fetus is viable outside the womb, typically around 22 to 24 weeks. Laws severely restricting abortion have been passed in multiple Republican-led states, but have been struck down by the courts for violating Roe v. It is the most restrictive abortion law passed in the United States since the procedure was guaranteed as a constitutional right nearly five decades ago. The Texas law, which went into force on September 1, bans abortion after six weeks, when a heartbeat in the womb can be detected but before many women even know they are pregnant. "I will not stand by silently as a State continues to nullify this constitutional guarantee." "This case is a disaster for the rule of law and a grave disservice to women in Texas, who have a right to control their own bodies," Sotomayor said. "Today, for the fourth time, this Court declines to protect pregnant Texans from egregious violations of their constitutional rights," Justice Sonia Sotomayor said. The majority did not provide any comment on their decision but the three liberal justices on the nation's highest court penned a scathing dissent. Instead, the case will remain with the conservative 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. "It provides that a civil cause of action may not be brought by a person who impregnated the abortion patient through an act of rape, sexual assault, incest of any other specifically acts in the penal code," answered Slawson. The court, in a 6-3 decision, rejected a request by abortion providers to have the case sent to a district judge who had previously moved to block the Texas law. Sheryl Cole (D-Austin) asked Slawson if the Amendment makes an exception for rape or incest. That has raised concerns for victims, which prompted Slawson to submit an Amendment. "Well, you know I appreciate that you don't want to believe this and that you are disagreeing with it but I am talking about what the science says, so you're telling me that the science is wrong," said Howard.Ī key and controversial part of SB 8 is a section allowing lawsuits against anyone who performs an abortion or helps make it possible. It’s claimed that under the law a rapist could sue the family members of his victim if they recommend an abortion should be done.įor Howard, who has a medical background, Slawson’s response only made the exchange more personal. Those opposed to SB 8 say the legal liability is too broad. "I fundamentally disagree with that," said Slawson.įaith leaders oppose ‘heartbeat bill’ measures at Texas Capitol Slawson refused to agree that the sound of the heartbeat is not critical. The point was pressed by Howard who brought up a statement from doctors who wrote that the heartbeat sound should not be used. "The Doppler fetal monitor, that has that kwoosh, woosh, woosh sound that you gave us a while ago, is not actually the sound of a heartbeat, but an amplified version of signals. Howard challenged the idea of using the sound to determine when an abortion should not be done. That kwoosh, kwoosh, kwoosh," said Slawson. "Many men and women in this chamber have had that incredible experience when we first heard the sound of our then unborn babies play out in a doctors' office. Responsive or Adaptive Design Static layoutĪ static layout has a fixed width with no adaptability based on the browser width. It all depends on users’ needs and budget. Still, others prefer to do a fully responsive website, compatible with any device size, from small mobiles to big desktop screens. Other people prefer using only an adaptive layout in order to add at least some adaptability to their website. Some people prefer to build websites using only a static layout in order to save time and money. The type of layout users should use for their website depends on their designer’s specific needs and requirements. Morbi imperdiet augue quis tellus. As you may know, there are four types of website layouts: static, liquid, adaptive and responsive. Deployment and Headless Service for Master Nodes. Ryan's Annie, who we're told is a writer for the Baltimore Sun, is patently dippy and cute, but everyone around her is much better developed, particularly O'Donnell, whose sweet-tart persona really registers in the role of Becky, Annie's editor and best friend. Hanks gets the best lines, setting off his sassy wit with sweetness and vulnerability. In between there's lots of mushy stuff about omens and destiny and made-for-each-other magic. The rest of the movie is just a matter of time, as Sam and Annie ride separate tracks that had better meet or there'll be a riot in the theater. And Annie, about to become permanently mired in a fireworks-free relationship, can't seem to get this perfect stranger out of her mind. Next day, 2,000 women call the station asking for Sam's phone number. The talk show host asks to speak to Sam, who reluctantly pours his heart out all over the airwaves. Driving to visit Walter's parents in D.C., Annie tunes in her car radio and is spellbound by what she hears - Jonah has phoned a radio shrink to beg for help for his sad dad. Devastated, they move to Seattle to escape memories and start a new life.Īcross the continent, at a family Christmas Eve dinner in Baltimore, Annie announces her engagement to her pleasant but colorless, allergic-to-everything boyfriend Walter (Bill Pullman). This is mighty familiar stuff - "Sleepless" might just as well be called "The Courtship of Jonah's Father." Or "When Sam Finally Met Annie." But in this case, familiarity breeds content - "Sleepless" has the feel of a readymade classic, an old-fashioned kind of movie designed to be watched again and again.Ĭhicago architect Sam and his 8-year-old son, Jonah, have lost their wife and mother to cancer. It's the only thing that can separate the women from the men-and-boys summer blockbusters. "That's a chick's movie," grumbles Hanks.Īnd that's the commercial wisdom at the gooey heart of "Sleepless in Seattle," which looks likely to be the "Jurassic Park" of date movies - this romantic comedy tested so well with female audiences it was moved up from autumn to summer release. Later, another woman describes in loving detail the plot of the same movie to Sam (Tom Hanks) and her husband, her eyes welling well before she gets to the romantic payoff. "Men never get this movie," O'Donnell observes. TWO KEY SCENES in "Sleepless in Seattle": Annie (Meg Ryan) and her best pal Becky (Rosie O'Donnell) are munching popcorn and watching an old movie ("An Affair to Remember," with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, to be exact), salting their popcorn with tears and lip-syncing to Kerr's every melodramatic line. ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ (PG-13) By Joe Brown The program also acts as a debugging instrument, in order to detect installing or development issues.
